And the machine is interesting enough to outlive the momentary hype of a hot introduction. Forget what’s going on behind the seats and it’s easy to pretend that you’re piloting your own open-wheel Formula car since the Slingshot is so low, elemental, and raw. It feels as if you’re getting away with something. And who knows? Maybe you are

Seeing without the body panels is always cool. I like it when they bring those to shows.

No real surprises with the Slingshot though. Great to see the engine, but the body panels follow the skeleton pretty well.

I noticed on my first ride the whinning noise between gear change and complained to the service department, they did not know yet, still new.I enjoyed the power and handling.I am not happy with the recalls.I called Polaris about the 500 rpm going up when changing gears when I release the clutch they said they would look into it.To me its safety hazard.Faulty back up camera.I love the handling. The winshield is too low.Paul

I'm glad they recalled them early instead of pulling a GM and waiting till a few people got killed.
I am 6'3" and the windshield doesn't get in my way. Deflects just enough wind. Also not hanging the RPM issue but I would prefer some quieter gears.

It might even be worth it to have them get the issue you're reporting in writing so there's a paper trail incase things get worse, then they can't point fingers and say " your own neglegence!!!!!!"
