Polaris Slingshot vs Campagna V13R

I know the T Rex is the venerable benchmark, but Campagna makes another machine that I think lines up with the Slingshot much more appropriately.

Its called the V13R and its motivated by a Harley Davidson V-Twin pulled straight out of the VROD. The V13R is still going to be a bit pricier than the Slingshot (assumed of course) but I think this is the closest ACTUAL rival to the slingshot.

$53,999...

Not sure how the ride experience compares, but... A co-worker has one of these 13Rs and loves it. However, he has had some challenges as the only dealer in the area stopped selling them (or went out of business, I don't remember). He had a cracked rear fender and ended up getting it fixed at a custom Harley shop. That was the only place he could find to help him.

At least Polaris will bring an established dealer network to the table. It's also nice that the Slingshot is half the price.

I wanted on bad until the SS came out. I feel the SS in more of a fit for the masses. 25g for a toy is not cheap but 50g is a big one. Granted it is high end but we don't all want that for twice the price. Plus the size of the SS seams more comfortable and safer. Dealers are everywhere. I hope to turbo mine with a lower boost, should keep up with a stock Trex no problem.

It looks cool but it seems a bit expensive to me. Slingshot is much more affordable. Polaris did a good job taking advantage of that opportunity. Is the V13 a lot more powerful than the Slingshot. or is there some other reason why it is so much more expensive?

Its look already turn me off from it, when it comes to the looks department, the slingshot wins for me.

It looks great and I bet it's a blast to drive. Would love to take it for a test drive. Still am not gonna spend that much on a vehicle like this though.
