Anyone put on a trailer hitch

Wondering if anyone has put a hitch on theirs? We have a wing with a hitch that allows us to carry a cooler along (extra storage) and since storage space is limited in the slingshot was hoping to do the same for it.

I also have a Wing and pull a trailer. I asked my SS dealer if adding a trailer hitch would invalidate the SS warrantee. He said it would. I guess the Can Am is a more rugged machine since the company makes not only a hitch for it but a really nice trailer as well.

The Can Am Spyder trailer hitch is attached using a bolt that goes through the "hollow" rear wheel axle. I have a Spyder with the trailer hitch and I just don't see an obvious way to attach a trailer hitch to a Slingshot with the rear wheel supported from the frame by a single support to one side of the wheel. If they had a "Y" support going to each side of the wheel, there would be possibilities.

I don't have a Slingshot, but am seriously considering trading in my 2010 RT Can Am Spyder on one.
