rearview mirror

Anyone using the rear view mirror from Slingmods or similar? What do u think of it.
Poor rear visibility is a major problem in this vehicle IMO. I know it is a motorcycle but in a mo cycle you can look around from side to side unobstructed.
i've had my SL for only a day now but find the lack of rear and rt side visibility troublesome[dangerous).

A rearview mirror will most likely not work very well. You really need to adjust your side mirrors for the best view. Get some help in making the adjustments. Had to move the arms in a bit, then adjust.

agree, I've done that, next , i think, some convex mirrors are in order. That rt rear blind spot is bad.

What we need is a mirror that goes on the windscreen brace and telescopes up. Like open sports car racing.... all the ones I found are $200 and up.

I bought two small "fish eye" mirrors that help with the side visibility and back when on the road. The backup camera works well.

I put a small round fisheye on the left mirror and a larger one (triangular and on a stalk, I don't remember the brand) on the right mirror mount. Adjusted them so I get a good view of the blind spots. They've saved me from a side collision several times already. Side view is more important on the road than rear view, I can lean over a little and see behind me in the side mirrors. It's the idiot suddenly passing on the right that's the real danger.

Has anyone figured out how to switch the rear camera on manually to use it as a rear view mirror?
