Jri shock install

Got my JRI non-adjustable shocks today. Very nice! Watched the Slingmod install video. Rear shock install, in my opinion, could use a bit of an edit. Removal was no big deal, but the install of the new shock was not so easy by myself. Do yourself a favor, buy a six pack, and call a buddy who understands what you need to do with the shock to reinstall. Took a coupla of minutes with my buddy. No way I could hold the shock in the access hole and physically get the bolt through the mounting bracket and shock. If you can do this by yourself, without hanging yourself from a shower rod, then you are the man/woman, and my hat is off to you. Six packs are cheaper then therapy. I bottle jacked at the swing arm mount and slid my floor jack under the tire for pressure relief on the lower shock bolt. Just like the video suggests. Get a buddy to help for 5 minutes and it is easy. The front shocks are a piece of cake. They are installed and am gonna take a buddy out tomorrow for a ride and see if I can't scare the breakfast out of him! FUN! Ride safe!
